“Praise ye the Lord, I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.” (Psalm 111:1)

We see in the Scripture, that the Psalmist makes a decision and HE SPEAKS IT OUT OF HIS MOUTH that he WILL praise the Lord with HIS WHOLE HEART! That is an attitude of heart that he has CHOSEN to have!

How many of us almost wait to see what the day has in store for us before we decide whether it’s a day for praise, or it’s a day for ‘woe is me’! When you receive revelation of the fact that, to praise God for Who He is and for what He has ALREADY done, means Victory, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! Even if, to start with, you are praising God because you know in your heart that you need to, you will soon find that you will begin to praise Him because you KNOW that you have the answer - you KNOW your breakthrough is HERE, even if you don’t yet see it!

Notice the next part of that verse, “... in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.” You know, it’s easier to praise God when those around you are of the same heart and mind! The place to learn to praise God with your whole heart - your whole being - is with those of like mind. Remember the song, “Let’s forget about ourselves, concentrate on Him, and worship Him.” When you forget about yourself, concentrating on the God of your Salvation, and you worship Him, you are actually allowing the manifestation of that thing you are believing for to come! God’s already done it, He is just waiting for you and me to take our minds off the problem, and concentrate on Him!
